Sheet 03 — Life

Closer to home

A piece of ground, a garden that feeds us, and money handled by rules written down before they were needed. The same habits as the day job, pointed at the part of life nobody can lay off.

  • Grade decisions, not outcomes: the loopRules lead to a thesis with its counterargument, then a memo a person signs, then ninety days, then a grade that scores the process and the outcome separately, which feeds back into the rules. A two-by-two marks the win from a bad process as the dangerous square. No arrow leads to a trade.the grade feeds the rules · the outcome never grades the reasoningRules

    Grow

    Garden and Grow System

Thirty-seven crops in zone 5b/6a, planned like infrastructure rather than hobby rows — plant cards, daily logs, a weather read, and chickens that earn their keep. It is also the working prototype for the company.

    The House & the Homestead

A piece of ground and the house on it, documented and improved a season at a time. None of it is glamorous. All of it compounds.
